England Vs Japan Rugby

England Dominate Japan in Summer Rugby Series Opener

Thrashing Victory Kicks Off Crucial Tour

England has made a strong start to their summer rugby series, dominating Japan in their first Test match. The hosts ran in six tries plus a penalty score in a 52-13 thrashing in south-west London.

England bounced back in style after a disappointing defeat to Scotland last week. They were in control from the start against Japan, who were making their first Test appearance of the summer.

Owen Farrell kicked two penalties to give England an early lead, before Jonny May scored the first try of the match. Elliot Daly added another soon after, and England were in cruise control at 20-3 at the break.

Japan showed some spirit in the second half, but England were too strong. Anthony Watson, GeorgeFord, and MarkWilson all crossed the line for tries, and Farrell added a late penalty to complete the rout.

The victory is a major boost for England, who are looking to build momentum ahead of their autumn Tests against South Africa and New Zealand. Japan, meanwhile, will be disappointed with their performance, but they will have learned a lot from the experience.
